Transfers, Shopping spree, Baptism...
Hey all!!
It's been a few weeks since I've written so sorry for that! But things have been going pretty great here in Brazil!
In the last few weeks we've had transfers. I am still here working in the offices - suprise suprise! But it's been pretty busy trying to get everything done! We had 12 new missionaries show up and I think 6 who headed home, so just getting those logistics worked out was crazy. Not to add the fact that the rest of the mission also had transfers. But that craziness has passed and things are a little more chill In the office. Now we're just trying to get things ready for another group of 12 to show up here in 3 weeks... so we really never catch a break lol.
And things are going great in our area as well! We had Ysabelle's baptism since I last wrote! And today Juliana and Nena are also going to be baptized! We have been seeing so many miracles with Juliana and her family! One day we had plans to head to a pretty distant part of our area. But on the way we felt that we should call one of the members. He answered and said that Juliana was there with Nena (the woman who raised her) and that we could come share a message! We were able to share a wonderful message with them and schedule their baptism! And they said that the message was exactly what they were waiting for and needing! Miracles are really real!
I definitely have some fun stories as a secretary as well lol. Just imagine the look on the faces of everyone as two teenage missionaries walked out of the store with 6 shopping carts of random supplies for the missionaries houses... for example 15 plungers... lol! Let's just say yesterday's shopping spree was pretty fun!
It is also super fun to be able to receive the new missionaries and see their excitement and enthusiasm. But also sad to see so many great friends leaving when we send them to the airport on their last day. In all, being here I'm the office is such a great experience and I love it so much! And time is flying by so fast!
Also, I have a favor to ask from all of you! Our mission is trying to get a new Facebook page up and running and we need your help to get its publicity up! Even though it's all in portuguese, if you like the page, or like, comment or share any of the posts, the Facebook algorithm will share the page with more people and more people will have the chance to learn about the restored gospel. Here's the link and thanks for the help!
Well this is my quick update for the week! I'll try to do better at writing every week again lol. But no promises... things get pretty busy here! Hope you all have a great week!
