Feliz Natal!

 Hey all!

It's been a while since I've sent an email so I must apologize. Things (like always) have been super busy here in the office. Especially with Christmas and getting everything ready for the Christmas zone conferences, end of the year budgeting and just all of the other craziness of the end of the year. But things are going great!

This year our Zone Christmas Conference was pretty short, but a lot of fun. A lot of it was musical performances by the missionaries, and I was able to play Hark Ye Herald Angels Sing which was super fun! Our district also sang a hymn so in preparation we all bought matching ties. And not to brag but our district was definitely the best prepared group. Our Christmas lunch was super amazing! It was literally a feast and there were so many wonderful options that I didn't even know where to start. We also took a mission picture... except that the whole mission wasn't there... so we took a bunch of pictures with our two zones and one of the Elders is going to try to photoshop the picture of our two zones with the picture of the rest of the missionaries. Well see how it works out lol. We also all got peanut butter from President and Sister Crane which I am super excited for!

That was on Christmas Eve. On Christmas day (I confess it didn't really feel like Christmas) we got up and got ready for church like normal. Sacrament meeting had very few people but it was super great. And then we were able to spend some time with members before doing our studies and talking to our family. And just to make it feel a little more like a normal day, we had to come to the mission office to do the weekly mission newsletter that we always do on Sunday. But even though it didn't really feel like Christmas, I love the focus that we have on our Savior this time of year. I love being able to talk to people about what Christmas is really about. And I love being able to reflect on what I can do to share the Christmas spirit.

Then our pday (which is normally on Saturday) got divided up between Monday and today (because our zone conference was on Saturday). So on Monday we got to play basketball with the Assistants, zone leaders and President Crane and his 2 sons! So that was super fun!

Well that's about it for this week. I cannot believe that this Sunday we will start 2023, but I'm excited! I'm excited for all the new experiences ahead and for the chance we all have to reflect a little about our new goals and plans for a new year!

I hope you all have a great week and a happy new year!
