1 Year!!!!
Hey all!!
Sorry that I didn't write an email last week, things were a little bit busy! But things are going fantastic here!
And now I have officially been a missionary for 1 year! Which is absolutely crazy to think about and believe! This last year has been the Best year of my life! The hardest too, but I think the fact the mission is hard makes it such an amazing experience! Sometimes we need jard things to be able to grow and progress! And the joy and happiness rest I have felt here on the mission has also been incredible. It's kind of funny to think about the fact that I am half way done, especially because I don't feel like I've even learned half of what I need to lol. But I have learned so much and am so excited to keep learning and growing!
These last two weeks I think have been two of the busiest weeks in my life! We have been teaching tons of people, we had zone conference, I've been on like 4 exchanges, and there is still so much work left to do! But that's definitely a good thing. I much prefer the problem of having too much to do rather than nothing at all.
I have been thinking a lot these last few weeks (especially after zone conference) about the importance of obedience in our lives. There was an apostle who used the analogy of sports... he talked about how every single sport has lines or boundaries of some kind. The players have to stay in between the lines to play. In our lives God has given us commandments. We have to live according to these commandments! And even though we might not understand why, those boundaries are Rhee to protect us, and to help us receive all of the blessings that God has in store for us.
Some random stories for the day... Last week, my companion and I went to Sal e Brasa which is a Brazilian grill restaurant (comparable to Toucanos) where they bring a ton of meat around until you can't eat any more. It was fantastic!!! We also had lunch one day with President Crane which was super fun.
But that's about it for today! Have a great great week and keep doing great things!
