Transfers . . . Again

 Hey all!!

I didn't write last week, but the last two weeks have been pretty great and full of change.

First off, this last week we had another transfer! I am still here in the same area which makes me really happy, but now I  have a new companion Elder Lana. Like I've already said about this area, its huge, but I've surprised myself with the fact that I pretty much know my way around even after just one transfer here. I've been able to show Elder Lana around and introduce him to all of the people we're teaching.

And as a great start to this transfer, Clara was baptized on Saturday! We have been teaching her for a really long time and finally we were able to help her make that special decision to follow the example of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Yesterday, we also had the chance to participate in a Temple and Family History fireside which was a great way to help some of our recent converts start getting ready to go to the Temple for the first time. And I'm super excited because the wards here are planning a caravan to the temple for next week which will be great!

In other news for the coming weeks, this next Sunday is Stake Conference and I'm super excited to help people go to that and for the chance to hear from the general authorities who will be there (I don't remember who exactly though haha).

And in general, things are going really well. I love this area, I love Portuguese, I love the people here in Pernambuco, and most of all, I love the chance I have to help others find the joy that the gospel of Jesus Christ brings! Easter was a great opportunity to reflect on the love of our Savior Jesus Christ and what it means for each of us personally to know that He lives. He lives to free us from the chains of death. Both physically and spiritually. And we can choose to become better because of His sacrifice for us!

I hope you all have a great week! Remember to thank God for the many blessings he jas given you and to learn how to use your Spiritual momentum to overcome the challenges of live and become more like our perfect example Christ!

Até mais!!
