Baptism and Helping a Family Move
Hey all!
The last two weeks have been pretty great! I don't have tons of time to write today, but I want all of you to know that I'm doing well here!
Definitely a highlight of last week was a baptism we had! Ana LuĂza, a 9 year old girl we've been teaching, was finally baptized after her baptism was rescheduled like 4 times for various reasons. It was super amazing for her to join her older sister in being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and to see the light that she is already bringing to her family!
This week we also had Zone Conference which was a great chance to think about my purpose as a missionary and what I can do to completely dedicate this time to the Lord!
This week as well we've been able to help one family in particular to start to progress a ton! It is so amazing to see the power of the Book of Mormon and how it changes people's lives!
We also helped a family move this week... but unlike a normal move to start off a Saturday we were hauling refrigerators and couches and everything else up the steepest hill you can imagine (my feet would start slipping sometimes) to get everything to the truck they rented. But in the end we succeeded! Mostly thanks to these crazy Brazilians who will throw a couch on their head and walk it up the hill themselves lol.
Well that's all for this time! Have a great week and remember the power of prayer!
