One Week, Learning Tons

 Hey all!

I have now spent a whole week in Brazil! I am learning so much and having a great time. I feel a little more adjusted now that I've had some time to get into a schedule and have a little more structure to my day.

My focus right now is learning to u understand Portuguese, cuz I am still barely understand anything. But I got a little bit of time to figure it out.

I love missionary work! This week we invited one of the people we're teaching to be baptized and she agreed! We have a few people we're teaching who we hope will accept that invitation soon. And we are working with one person who will be baptized this week. I've only been here for like 10 days but the work has begun full force. I go to bed exhausted every day but it means I sleep amazing haha! And even though we are working all day every day we still don't have enough time to do all the things we want to do. But were helping God's children to come into Christ with everything we do.

This Saturday I got to help with more of the house remodel that I (think) I talked about last week. It was awesome to serve with the members and to learn a little more about building houses here cuz it's very different than in the US. They use brick and concrete for everything so definitely some things about it that I don't know.

I'm super excited because this week we have zone conference and then general conference so its gonna be a Spiritual high.

I love the food here. Lots of beans and rice but lots of good pork and chicken too. And one day we got hotdogs which was awesome. Here in Brazil people load their hotdogs. I don't have a picture, but I don't even know half of what was on my hotdogs. It was so good though!

I hope you are all doing well! I'm loving being here in Brazil and getting to surround myself with new people and a new culture. It's hard at times, but I'm so grateful for what those hard times teach me.

Keep living the gospel and remember that through Christ all things are possible! Love you all!
